Stoner Invisible Glass Review: The 92164 Trigger Spray

Invisible Glass 92164 is the ordinary 22-fl-oz trigger-spray cleaner. It fits a glass-cleaning task when the cleaner and the window or film instructions permit that use. It is not the Clean & Repel formula, and buying more bottles does not add a rain-repellent step. Before choosing a listing, match the product number, bottle size and pack, then check that you can complete the wiping and drying process.
This Stoner Invisible Glass review evaluates the identified product and its documented directions. It does not rank measured cleaning performance against other cleaners.

01Documented task fit
Best for a ready-to-use trigger bottle for permitted glass
Meguiar’s Perfect Clarity G8224, 24 oz
G8224 is the documented glass-cleaning spray in this selection; its instructions use a clean towel and a separate dry finish.
Why this position: First as an identified ready-to-use trigger cleaner with a clean-towel and separate dry-finish method. It anchors the ordinary permitted-glass cleaning scenario.
Check before choosing: It is a cleaner, not scratch repair. Keep it off clear plastics, LCD displays and other excluded surfaces.

02Documented task fit
Best for choosing one trigger bottle or a two-bottle pack
Invisible Glass 92164, 22 fl oz
The two reviewed offers contain the same 92164 cleaner. Pick the bottle count you need rather than treating the two-pack as a stronger formula.
Why this position: Second as another trigger-bottle route, with single and multiple bottles recognised as one formula. Pack count is a buying choice, not a higher cleaning rank.
Check before choosing: Follow the window-film instructions and use clean lint-free towels; leftover towel treatment can complicate the result.

03Documented task fit
Best for light glass cleaning with a cloth-first interior method
Chemical Guys Streak Free CLD30016, 16 oz
The current manufacturer profile describes this glass-cleaning formula and a two-towel process. Apply to the towel when controlling spray near cabin fittings.
Why this position: Third for light cleaning with a cloth-first interior application. Its specific bottle and spray-control method add a cabin-use branch to the first two triggers.
Check before choosing: Check the selected 16 oz bottle and the window-film care instructions. A similarly named bundle does not establish the same contents or permitted uses.

04Documented task fit
Best for a glass formula without added fragrance
Gtechniq G6 Perfect Glass
Gtechniq says G6 omits fragrance; its method puts cleaner on microfiber and removes residue with a second clean cloth.
Why this position: Fourth when avoiding added fragrance is the deciding requirement. That preference can move it to the front for that reader; this default order is not a measured cleaning table.
Check before choosing: Fragrance omission does not authorize every tinted film or surface. Work out of direct sunlight and follow the glass or film maker’s care instructions.

05Documented task fit
Best for an aerosol format for permitted glass
Invisible Glass 91164, 19 oz aerosol
91164 is a separate aerosol product, not the 92164 trigger formula in another pack. The existing offer contains two cans.
Why this position: Fifth as the separately identified aerosol alternative. Format, weight and can count distinguish the purchase without proving that foam cleans better.
Check before choosing: Aerosol weight and trigger-bottle fluid volume are different measures. Foam does not establish better cleaning.

06Documented task fit
Best for a single-can foaming glass cleaner when fragrance is acceptable
Sprayway SW050 Glass Cleaner, one 19 oz can
The SW050 technical sheet identifies a no-ammonia foam with floral fragrance for glass, mirrors and windshields. This offer is one 19 oz can.
Why this position: Sixth as another foaming aerosol when floral fragrance is acceptable. It follows the trigger and format choices because scent and the delivered label add a specific qualification.
Check before choosing: Ammonia omission does not approve every film, coating or plastic. Check the exposed surface's care instructions and the delivered SW050 label; foam is not evidence of better cleaning.
Identify the Invisible Glass Formula and Pack

The three nearby products differ in format or function. Use the model number to resolve a listing that only says “Invisible Glass.”
| Exact product | Format | Product role | Documented boundary | Check in the listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invisible Glass 92164 | 22 fl oz trigger spray | Ordinary glass cleaner | The directions require suitable clean cloths and complete drying; no added rain-repellent role is established here | 92164, 22 fl oz per bottle, bottle count |
| Invisible Glass 91164 | 19 oz foaming aerosol | Glass cleaner in an aerosol format | Wiping and full drying still apply; foam alone does not establish better cleaning | 91164, 19 oz per can, can count |
| Invisible Glass Clean & Repel 92184 | 22 fl oz trigger spray | Cleaner with added rain repellent | Stoner’s directions restrict it to exterior glass | 92184 and Clean & Repel, rather than the ordinary cleaner |
The maker’s product pages identify these formats. A pack of two bottles of 92164 stays one cleaner with a larger supplied quantity. It is not a stronger formula or a second performance winner. The aerosol’s ounces and the trigger bottle’s fluid ounces are also different measures; do not use them as interchangeable values for a cross-format price comparison.

What the 92164 Directions Require

Have a cleaning cloth and a fresh dry finishing cloth ready before applying the cleaner. Stoner’s directions for the trigger spray give the cloth condition and dry finish a specific role:
- Use a lint-free towel or microfiber cloth without residual detergent or fabric softener. A cloth’s previous washing and use matter; a bottle change does not correct an unsuitable cloth.
- Spray the glass and wipe the wet surface gently to lift and remove grime.
- Dry the glass completely with a new, dry towel or cloth. The cleaning wipe is not the end of the procedure.
These are the maker’s application requirements, not a finding that every streak has one cause. Follow the received bottle’s directions and the instructions for the exposed glass, film or coating. If you already own a permitted cleaner and the required cloths, another purchase may be unnecessary.
If the glass remains streaky, use the existing windshield-streak steps. They cover the broader check and stopping point; this review does not establish a removal method for unidentified persistent marks. For a cloth-care question, check how microfiber car towels should be washed.
Tint Claims Do Not Approve Every Surface

Stoner describes the ordinary cleaner as ammonia-free and suitable for tinted windows. Stoner makes that product claim. Check the exact bottle and the film maker or installer’s care instructions together, particularly when the exposed surface has an added film or coating.
The glass-cleaner directions reviewed here do not establish permission for every vehicle display or anti-reflective finish. Identify that surface and use its care guidance rather than extending a tint claim to it.
The 92164 product page also describes a residue-free result and cites independent laboratory testing. Hot Car Care has not reviewed the underlying laboratory report or conducted that testing. Those statements do not supply a measured ranking against the aerosol or another cleaner.
Choose the Product Role That Fits

Choose the ordinary 92164 when the job is permitted routine glass cleaning and you want the trigger format. Consider a separate treatment only when you have an exterior-glass protection task after cleaning. The word “glass” on both labels does not make those jobs interchangeable.
If you want to compare different routine cleaners, compare the identified glass-cleaner formulas. That guide remains the category comparison. Choose by the permitted use and the wiping routine. These sources do not establish that 92164 cleans fastest or produces the clearest view.

Review Method and Limits

We checked product identities, online application directions and the scope of the manufacturer’s claims on October 12, 2026. This is a documentary review. We have not performed a cleaning trial, inspected every Amazon pack or established a numerical performance score. The pack check, cloth requirements and material boundaries are the basis for the recommendation. See our editorial method for how Hot Car Care separates source information from testing.
